Drawing inspiration from Japanese culture, the website maintains its Mexican roots, resulting in a harmonious fusion of both. Just like the physical space, the virtual version of Loose Blues is unconventional and timeless.Photography plays a vital role in completing the online experience. The images capture an inviting chaos, leaving room for imagination and allowing visitors to explore a myriad of colors, styles, and emotions.

ルーズ・ブルースはメキシコと日本の、食、ファッション、カルチャーを融合させたメキシコ•シティーにあるアットホームなお店。1階には新品からヴィンテージまで、セレクトされた洋服やアイテムが並び、2階では日本とメキシコ料理のフュージョンが楽しめるラウンジがあります。今回のウェブプロジェクトは、ルーズ・ブルースのエッセンスや雰囲気を汲み取り、オンラインの世界に届けてることです。お店で扱われているものは日本のものづくりや物語からインスピレーションを受けながらも、メキシコのトラディショナルな柄や色を維持することで、両者の調和を実現しています。お店の空間と同じように、ウェブサイトは型にはまらずタイムレスなデザインとしています。写真はオンライン体験一部として重要な役割を果たしています。写真は見るを人誘い込み、様々な色、スタイル、感情を探求し、想像をさせる、メキシカンカオスを写しています。

The visual identity, web and printed materials are inspired by schematics, ecosystems found in nature and "karesansui" — the Japanese dry garden. It represents balance with nature, beauty and life, illustrated on the environment as a canvas.

In a feature collaboration with&nbsp;VSCO, Riomar was commissioned to work on an ongoing series highlighting creators from around the world in their perspective cities. The piece journals a tranquil day in Tokyo, with pictures, short footages, and notes from the local areas of Setagaya to the city of Shibuya. Sunday in Tokyo with VSCO

In the summer of 2019, our friend&nbsp;Shin-san was working on something new. He asked us if we had some brand &amp; visual ideas for their upcoming hair salon, <a href="https://www.un-plugged.tokyo/">unplugged</a>. The salon discreetly located in the back-streets of Omotesando, he envisioned a place that felt like a laidback coffeeshop: sit down, relax, and enjoy vinyls from the 60~70's. We proceeded to define and create a brand that reflected a look that felt timeless, simple and most importantly, relaxed.The salon features big spaces with counters showcasing a collection of vinyl and a record player hooked up to a pair of vintage Altec speakers. By request, Shin-san brews a fresh hand-drip coffee after end of each session, offering relaxing times. These elements became our inspiration for creating the visual identity.In addition to the salon, Shin later approached us about his experimental coffee stand project: <a href="https://www.instagram.com/unplugged_coffeestand/">unplugged coffee stand</a>. Maybe permanent, maybe a pop up. The interior still under way, it's a working in progress. That chaos gave us some experimental inspirations for the new sub visual identity under the unplugged brand. Discreet yet a moving, joyful identity that balanced with the main brand.

2019年の晩夏、開始へと向かっていたサロン <a href="https://www.un-plugged.tokyo/">unplugged</a> のブランド/ビジュアルディレクションについて、友人の前田伸一氏は何かアイディアはない？と私たちに問いました。表参道の裏通りにひっそりと佇むそのサロンには、コーヒーショップのように心が帰る場所に感じてほしいという願いが込められています。ゆったり座って、力を解いて、60~70年代のレコードを楽しむ、そんな場所。時代に捕らわれない、飾らずシンプルに、何よりその名が表すように体の「プラグ」を抜き一息付く、そのルーティンが反映されるようなブランドづくりを目指しました。開放感に満ちた空間に、キャビネットにはコレクションのレコードと、ビンテージのAltec社製スピーカーを繋いだレコードプレーヤーが飾られた店内。施術後はリラックスできるようにと、リクエストがあれば前田氏自らが淹れるハンドドリップコーヒーを堪能できる。こうした要素がビジュアルディレクションに置いて重要なインスピレーションになりました。しばらくして前田氏はサロンに加えて新しいプロジェクトの構想を始めました。コーヒースタンド、<a href="https://www.instagram.com/unplugged_coffeestand/">unplugged coffee stand</a> です。常設にするか、それともポップアップの形態にするのか。依頼を受けた当時、内装は施工の途中段階でプロジェクト全体が進行の最中でした。ヘアサロン「unplugged」の名を引き継ぐサブ・ビジュアルアイデンテティ―を制作する上で、前田氏にさえ結末が分からないこの混沌さと実験的なムードが私たちにとってのインスピレーションになりました。少しずつ、しかし確実に前進する。メインブランドと調和する楽しくも動きのあるロゴデザインが完成しました。

While showcasing the project's aesthetics and financial potential, we focused on giving people a glimpse of the area's lifestyle, highlighting the beautifully dense nature, fresh food, and the community surrounding it. NobodySurf and upcoming.studio share a long journey of partnerships, friendships, enthusiasm for surf, and nice waves. We have closely worked together for the last couple of years to create and foster an online platform that represents surfers and creators to audiences around the globe. A place that supports creators create.The website and app let people browse and dig through a database dedicated to select surf films, playlists, and editorials maintained by NobodySurf. The app offers more features to let you enjoy it like a music app. We’ve approached NobodySurf design by combining ideas of galleries, magazines, and a place for a community brought to the modern era.We have been responsible for expanding their brand identity, developing their visual language, and designing the app &amp; web interface from the ground up, including front-end web development.Since its launch, NobodySurf has attracted viewers and creators from around the globe. The app has been featured multiple times by the App Store for App of the Day and App Store Story.

In this zine, we interviewed various artists from London, Tokyo, Berlin, Hamburg and offered them a platform to express their views through different mediums. Black Rainbow

Something that cannot be seen, touched, smelled, or tasted — a measurement of change that is not only mathematical, but also relative to our personal experience of it. We feel time through emotions influenced by our senses: Time flies is an experimental installation depicting the perception and relationship, between space and time.The installation space is surrounded by plain white walls and semi-transparent Plexiglas windows to initiate a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ganzfeld_effect">Ganzfeld effect</a>. This effect is intensified by the introduction of haze and white noise. By synchronising sound, light, vibration, and movement together, it generates a&nbsp;pulse-like&nbsp;rhythm inside the space. With three installation bases inside the room, dynamic patterns are introduced, creating a space that feels like time is warping.For the room and the bases, lights and motors were placed, controlled, and randomised through an <a href="Arduino">Arduino</a> Uno. A 74HC595 Shift Register Breakout was added to the circuit to extend the number of analog ports. Finally, the generative sound was programmed in <a href="SuperCollider">SuperCollider</a> and allowed individual control over each of the speakers.This project was realised as part of <a href="https://design-factory.de">Design Factory International</a>'s graduate show 2019.

目で捕らえられず、触れることも、その香りや味さえ知覚できない。 この指針は数学的にその変化を観測できるのはもちろんだが、私たちの個人的な体感に依っても左右される。「時間」は、時として私たちの意識に影響された感情を通して感じることができる。「Time flies」は知覚と、空間と時間の関係性を表現する実験的なインスタ―レーションです。プレーンな白い壁と半透明のアクリル樹脂に囲まれたその部屋は、<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ganzfeld_effect">Ganzfeld Effect</a>の誘発の為に考案された。薄霧とホワイトノイズで部屋は満たされ、音、光、振動、モーション、その全てがシンクロしパルスにも似たリズムを空間に生み出します。そして三つのスピーカーから織りなされる振動が、時間が歪んだかのように錯覚させる。 空間内とスピーカーに置いては照明とモーターが設置され、その制御は<a href="Arduino">Arduino</a> Unoによってランダムに調節されました。アナログポートの増加の為に74HC595シフトレジスタブレイクアウトを回路に加え、音の生成は<a href="SuperCollider">SuperCollider</a>によってプログラムされたのち、各スピーカーの独立した制御によってコントロールされました。このプロジェクトは<a href="https://design-factory.de">Design Factory International</a>の2019年度卒業プロジェクトとしてとり行いました。
